Area Borders stores will celebrate the release of "Breaking Dawn," the fourth and final book in Stephenie Meyer's bestselling "Twilight" series, with an in-store book release party beginning at 9:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, and culminating at midnight when the book officially goes on sale. Themed "From Twilight til Dawn: A Night with Bite," the parties will include costume contests, trivia contests, lively debates on themes from the book series and more. The St. Louis County Library will celebrate the newest installment in Stephenie Meyer's "Breaking Dawn," the fourth book in the "Twilight" series, with events at eight branches beginning Saturday, Aug. 2. Auditions

Audition applications are being accepted for the Community Music School of Webster University's Orchestras and Ensembles. Students ages 7 through high school are encouraged to audition for the school's Young People's Symphonic or Concert Orchestras, String Orchestra, String Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble and Jazz Lab Ensemble.
